Location: Lake St. George, near Washago, Ontario
Relax in retro style at the Morning Glory cottage on lovely Lake St George, near Washago. For those who enjoyed the 70’s, this updated cottage is filled with character. Kick back in the family room overlooking the lake, and listen to your favourite tunes from yesteryear, while you play a rousing game of shuffleboard.
Although the cottage has neighbours on both sides, it remains a fairly private location, situated on a lovely, mature, tree-lined and spacious lot. Filled with natural light, it offers a splendid view of the water. Southern exposure also puts sun on the deck and dock all day long on peaceful, laid-back Lake St. George. An outside dining table, lounge chairs and Muskoka chairs are provided.
In the open concept living room and kitchen, create a meal and enjoy it in the adjacent dining area. Alternately, the dining table on the deck provides a cool, scenic spot in the late afternoon, to enjoy a meal through the hot summer weather.
The main floor living room will quickly become a favourite spot to socialize and enjoy the view. If indoor activity is the order of the day, take a walk on the wild side and jazz it up in the 2nd floor games room complete with an old-style turntable and a selection of vinyl.
Three bedrooms are located on the main floor. The main bedroom offers a queen-sized bed, the second bedroom contains a queen, and the third a king futon bed. The bathroom is on the main floor, near the kitchen.
Easy and shallow entry to the water is made either off the dock or at the sandy opening to the left of the dock, suitable for young children.
